Our home remodeling process begins with a brief phone call to discuss your project's scope of work, desired timing, and home's location to ensure we can meet your needs. We will explain our process so you can feel comfortable with what we'll experience together before you invest your time and money with us. Additionally, we will send you a client intake form and schedule an in-home consultation.
During our first meeting at your home, we will:
-Review your client intake form and take a tour of your home and the proposed project space to understand your requirements better.
-Ask clarifying questions to fully comprehend the issues you're facing with your current space.
-Discuss your desired budget and investment comfort zone.
-Explore design/build team options, including Interior Designers and Architects, and plan to meet them. We believe it's essential for you to select the designer and engineer who align with your personal style.
-Review site conditions and constructability details of your home.
Review Pre-Construction Agreement and sign. This allows us to then move onto the design and pricing phase.
Why sign the pre-con agreement and why we charge for our estimates?
Accurate estimates in paid estimating are essential in renovations. They foster clear cost understanding between contractors and clients, considering materials, labor, and permits. This helps informed decisions, avoids overruns, and enhances fairness. Contractors' precise assessments deserve compensation, encouraging transparency and reliability. Moreover, it prevents underquoting, leading to better planning and successful renovations. Paid estimating's significance lies in its accuracy, fairness, and efficient project execution.
Completing the design will include:
-Collaborative team meeting to discuss interior design specifications.
-Commencing initial concept drawings if necessary.
-Offering value engineering ideas as needed.
-Revising the design as necessary.
-Finalizing the design and specifications for your home.
At this stage, our team will review the necessary, detailed floor plans, elevations, and specifications. We will ensure all details are carefully addressed and that everyone is on the same page while:
-Compiling pricing from our trade professionals.
-Present a draft budget and revising it if required.
If everything looks good and the Construction Agreement is signed, deposit is paid .....its time to secure
material and trade partner lead times build out a schedule for your dream project.
During the construction phase, we will:
-Provide regular updates on the work being performed.
-Meet with you daily and weekly to address any concerns and questions.
-Update you on any changes to the budget based on scope changes.
-Utilize our experience and project management systems to ensure high-quality results.
Upon completion we will do a final clean-up and walkthrough to ensure every detail is taken care-off. All required manuals and certificates will be turned over to client. We would also kindly ask:
-Allow us to have your completed project professionally photographed for our website and promotional materials.
-Provide an online review on a couple of review sites
and finally........ we will follow up with you during the 1-year warranty period to check on your satisfaction with the completed remodel and address any issues that may arise.
